Free AKC points calculators for dog show people
Your dog's championship points, figured out.
Count AKC championship points, see if it was a major, and know exactly what your dog needs to finish - for conformation, Fast CAT, agility, rally and obedience. Straight answers, the AKC rules behind them, no sign-up.

Why I built AKCcalc.com
Every time I wanted to know how many points my dog needed for a championship, I ended up searching the web - and kept finding different answers, buried in long articles and PDFs.
So I built the calculator I wanted: one that gets to the point. Type in what happened at the show and it tells you the points, whether it was a major and what is left to finish. Then it explains the AKC rules behind the answer, so championship showing makes sense instead of being a guessing game.

Give each dog a profile, with a photo, and every calculator keeps its points, runs and wins apart.
Points or Qs? The one idea behind every AKC title
Almost every AKC title is earned one of two ways. Qualifying scores (Qs) are passing runs or tests - most performance titles need a set number of them, like 3 for a Rally Novice or 10 for a Master Agility title. Points depend on how well the dog did and how many dogs it beat - championships, MACH, RACH, OTCH and Fast CAT titles add points up to a goal. Some titles need both: a MACH needs 750 points AND 20 Double Qs.
Points and Qs never expire, and AKC titles stay on the dog's record for life. Find your sport in every calculator, or count any title in the Dog Sports Title Tracker.

Common questions
Are these AKC calculators free?
Yes. Every calculator on AKCcalc.com is free to use, with no sign-up and no account. Anything you save stays in your own web browser on your own device.
Is AKCcalc.com part of the American Kennel Club?
No. AKCcalc.com is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the American Kennel Club. The calculators follow the published AKC counting rules, but your official AKC records always have the final word.
Where do I find the point schedule for my breed?
The AKC publishes a schedule of points for every breed, sex and division. Look up the state where the show was held, then your breed, and copy the number of dogs needed for 1 through 5 points into the calculator.
Do the calculators work on a phone?
Yes. Every page is built for phones and tablets first, with large buttons and large text, so you can check points right at the show ring.
Can I print a certificate of my dog's points?
Yes. The points calculators and trackers can create a dated, printable PDF certificate with your dog's name, the results and a certificate number. It records what you entered and is not an official AKC document.
